The Treasury of Atreus or Tomb of Agamemnon

This gigantic tomb was built near Mycenae. Treasury of Atreus for centuries remained the world's largest building, covered with a dome.

Although you can not see at first glance - the tomb is in fact buried - vault consists of dozens of layers stacked staggered stones, which not collapse by organizing, creating a unique dome.

Tomb was never "discovered" - it was well known in ancient times - however we don't know who and when was buried in it.
